Incorporate the logo that you designed into a standard 8 1/2 by 11" business letterhead sheet. If you are not planning to use this letterhead professionally, use the '555' exchange and prefix for telephone numbers. Use any Desktop Publishing software available to you. Macromedia Freehand, or InkScape will work. |

Any business communication can be used to help build 'brand-awareness' or 'name-recognition', so it is important to use the same theme and logo as in your business cards and other advertisements. Something to keep in mind is that most people are right-handed and hold letters with their left hand while they read. You should allow for a left margin along the edge of the sheet that does include any critical information that will be obscured while holding the letter. Hand in both digital and print versions of your letterhead. |
